I have been  an artist as long as I can remember. Growing up in Hawaii, I spent most of my time as a child and youth drawing, painting, reading and playing the piano (and hanging out on the beaches on the North Shore of Oahu).

My current artistic passions lie in acrylics and watercolor. I also love to do art journaling and am working on creating unique keepsake art journals for each of my 12 grandchildren. 

​

My love of art has led me to being passionate about using it to benefit others, including those who suffering from loneliness and depression, and those who have cognitive or physical challenges. I assisted in founding the Painting With Mom program which provides special sessions designed to reach seniors who may be experiencing isolation and loneliness

.

On a more personal note:  I’ve been married for over 50 years to a man who is my best friend, we have 4 grown children, and, with their wonderful spouses, they have blessed us with 12 grandchildren. I love my Lord, my family, my country.  Besides painting and drawing, I love to do complicated cross-stitch pictures, go for long drives and have sleep-overs with grandkiddles.
